Cricket Tournament By Pranav

Hi friends I am back again.

This time to share my experience about the cricket tournament which we (BCA VI Sem students) are playing in ,organized by B.Com students at S.G. College ground.

In what turned out to be a nail bitter, today our team won the match with just an over to spare.   

Winning the toss, BBM I yr team chose to bat on a tricky pitch and we had to ball with a never before used ball. Our team did well to resist opposition to a modest total of 49runs. Thanks to Sharath, Anil and other bowlers.

Having to chase 50 runs, our team got off to a very good start with opposition conceding 13 runs in the very first over. But things started to change once wicket tumbled.

Again, Sharath shared good partnerships with Basava and Anil. The duo of Sharath and Anil almost carried us home .But, Sharath got out at crucial junction.

 Anil finished the job with getting the winning runs with the only boundary of the whole match.

Sharath was declared Man of the Match for his all round performance.

So congrats SHARATH.

Also spare a thought for Anil who equally performed well.

Anil also took what appeared to a quite a difficult catch.

At last the scoreboard read BCA VI Sem. Won by 5 wickets, which matters the most at the end.
